THE WILDS WITHIN US ARE NOT BROKEN, COPING WITH STRESS BEGINS FROM WITHIN.
About Me

My Path
I worked as a peer support specialist and case manager for five years, walking alongside people as they rebuilt their lives one small step at a time. Later, I completed my counseling internship at a community health clinic in Idaho, where I learned the value of steady presence, clear communication, and meeting people exactly where they are.

My wife and I made our home in the Willamette Valley, and our small Salem apartment is filled with music, plants, and the kind of quiet that helps people breathe again. That same calm shapes the way I work with teens, young adults, and adults across Salem, Keizer, and the surrounding rural communities. I am drawn to the moments when life feels tangled, whether it is anxiety that will not settle, intrusive thoughts that feel too loud, grief that lingers, or identities still taking shape.

My work blends CBT, ACT, DBT, mindfulness, and creative, trauma informed approaches, but the heart of it is simple. I try to offer a space where you can be honest without feeling judged, a space where you can sort through what hurts and what you hope for, a space where you feel understood rather than analyzed.

Whether we meet in person in Salem or through telehealth from anywhere in Oregon, my hope is that you leave each session feeling a little more rooted, a little more connected to yourself, and a little more able to move toward the life you want.
